Karnataka Common Entrance Test, also known as KCET, is a state-level entrance exam conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority(KEA). This entrance exam is conducting to provide admission for eligible candidates to different undergraduate courses like B.Tech, B.E, B. Pharm, B.Arch and BSc in private as well as government educational institutions of Karnataka.

Eligibility Criteria
1) The candidates must pass 10+2 or 2nd PUC or any equivalent examination from a board recognized by the government of India.
2) Candidates must score at least 45% marks (40% for ST/SC) in math and physics along with biology or biotechnology or chemistry or electronics or computer science.

KCET syllabus is normally designed or is based on the syllabus of the 1st and the 2nd PUC (Pre-University Course) prescribed by the Department of Pre-University Education of Karnataka
