LIC AAO

LIC AAO or  Life Insurance Corporation Assistant Administrative Officer is a national level examination for the recruitment of officers to various posts which is conducted once every year to recruit aspiring candidates. The examination is conducted in two languages, English and Hindi. The recruitment process has three stages. The first stage is preliminary which have objective-type, multiple-choice questions. The second stage is mains which is descriptive type questions. Third and final stage is the personal interview.

Post Educational Qualification

AAO (IT)

  • Graduation degree of Engineering in Computer Science/ IT/ Electronics, or an MC/ MSC (Computer Science) from a recognized Indian university/institution

AAO (CA)

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized Indian university/ institution.
  • Must have passed the final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and completed articles as presented by ICAI.
  • The candidate should also be an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
  • Candidates must provide their membership number and it will be verified with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

AAO (ACTUARIAL)

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian university/institution.
  • Should have compulsorily passed paper CT1 and CT5 plus 4 or more other papers of the examination conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India / Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK. (Total 6 or more papers) as on the date of eligibility i.e. March 01, 2023.
  • Candidates must provide the membership number and it will be verified with the Institute of
    Actuaries of India/ Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK

AAO (RAJBHASHA)

  • Post-graduate master’s degree in Hindi/Hindi translation with English as one of the subjects at bachelor’s degree level, or
  • Post-graduate master’s degree in English with Hindi as one of the subjects at bachelor’s degree level, or
  • Post-graduate master’s degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at bachelor’s degree

AAO (Legal)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law or LLM from a recognized
    Indian university/institution.
  • Candidates must have three years of Bar experience as essential criteria.
